Driven by deep consumer insights, DISC supports women to take more control over their sexual and reproductive health. By doing so, women become active participants in their health systems and critical new partners for health providers. As part of the project DISC (Delivering Innovation in Self-Care), the Design Coordinator supports the team in designing, prototyping & scaling innovative ways to deliver self-injection to consumers in Uganda & Nigeria.

Kenya Counsellors provides remote access to licensed therapists by leveraging new technologies to adapt traditional counseling into the lifestyle and expectations of young professionals in Nairobi. KC maintains an active directory of psychologists, simplifies recommendation of good therapists with profiles on the stage & area on which they focus. Through their campaign program #DateWithAcounsellor we aim to build bridges on removing the stigma around mental health, by encouraging counselors to have sessions “Dates” with young professionals in coffee houses.Talk to a psychologist as if you are on a date.

Until December, 2015. Confrey worked in the Audit and Management Consulting sphere for KKCO East Africa. An independent accounting and advisory firm of Certified Public Accountants situated in Kenya. The company delivers business solutions to a broad–based clients.

Confrey worked as a Psychologist at CLMC AND BUSTANI. A reputable purpose-built psychiatric in-patient registered Medical Institutions, recognized by the Ministry of Health and National Hospital Insurance Fund with both general and private wards. As a psychologist, he was part of the program to integrate individual assessments and consultations with group therapy sessions and medication therapy. In the areas mental health consultations, psychotherapy, occupational therapy, work evaluation and psychosocial consultations.
